a contemporary artist based in Cyprus.

I am a contemporary fine art painter working in abstract realism, a style that sits at the crossing point of the observed and the imagined.

I paint from Cyprus, where the sea, the hills, the architecture of old villages always find their way into my paintings. Having travelled around many places, I draw the inspiration of the natural beauty around and breathe new life into it on my canvases.

My practice draws on realism, impressionism, cubism, and abstraction. Not as categories, but as tools: ways of getting closer to what a moment actually feels like, rather than only what it looks like.

To collect my work is to own something made with full attention: a painting that holds a specific place and time, translated into color and form.
